We have a host of remote and in-person volunteering opportunities. We encourage alumni to explore supporting student and startup mentoring, alumni outreach or advisory work virtually as well as participate in the U.S. Foundation programs and city chapter activities locally in person.
As a first step, we recommend you join the Somaiya U.S. volunteer network by ensuring you have registered in the Somaiya Alumni portal (if an Alumni) as well as joined the Foundation mailing website, which is primarily for all US entities - individuals, organizations who would like to stay connected. You will find means of doing both on the Somaiya Foundation homepage. (alumni.somaiya.edu & somaiyafoundation.org/en)
As the foundation is growing, we are seeking help with events, partnerships, fundraising, and outreach support. Alumni can also serve as city champions of their local alumni chapter or apply to become committee members for the Foundation’s Alumni Committee. You can express interest to volunteer in any one of the avenues here: somaiyafoundation.org/en/get-involved
We are actively expanding the Foundation’s collaboration with US organizations and individuals in areas of education, research, philanthropy, startups and working to establish partnerships. We welcome the larger US community to join us in exploring these avenues that provide mutual benefit.
