You can fill out a short volunteer form on the Somaiya Foundation website, where we match individuals to projects aligned with their skills and interests. You can find more information here: somaiyafoundation.org/en/get-involved

You can also express interest at any of the Foundation Alumni events in the U.S. and our U.S. Foundation team will follow up afterward.

Volunteering & Engagement

We offer opportunities such as mentoring students or startup initiatives, providing testing beds and facilities support for startups, assisting with alumni outreach in the U. S., supporting fundraising campaigns in the U.S., organizing city events, contributing to educational, research, healthcare, or community initiatives or consulting towards educational curriculum programming. Additionally, if you are interested in being part of an Alumni committee or a board of studies within the Somaiya education institutions, those avenues are also available from time to time.

Volunteering & Engagement

We have a host of remote and in-person volunteering opportunities. We encourage alumni to explore supporting student and startup mentoring, alumni outreach or advisory work virtually as well as participate in the U.S. Foundation programs and city chapter activities locally in person.

Volunteering & Engagement

As a first step, we recommend you join the Somaiya U.S. volunteer network by ensuring you have registered in the Somaiya Alumni portal (if an Alumni) as well as joined the Foundation mailing website, which is primarily for all US entities - individuals, organizations who would like to stay connected. You will find means of doing both on the Somaiya Foundation homepage. (alumni.somaiya.edu & somaiyafoundation.org/en)

As the foundation is growing, we are seeking help with events, partnerships, fundraising, and outreach support. Alumni can also serve as city champions of their local alumni chapter or apply to become committee members for the Foundation’s Alumni Committee. You can express interest to volunteer in any one of the avenues here: somaiyafoundation.org/en/get-involved

We are actively expanding the Foundation’s collaboration with US organizations and individuals in areas of education, research, philanthropy, startups and working to establish partnerships. We welcome the larger US community to join us in exploring these avenues that provide mutual benefit.

If you are in India and would like to volunteer or engage virtually, both options are available to explore.
