CASCADE (Centre for Achieving Sustainable Climate Action, Development, and Engagement)

Launched in 2023, CASCADE is a catalyst for grassroots sustainability and community action. It connects people—researchers and practitioners—place, and purpose to create awareness and inspire collective efforts. The initiative builds healthy soils, happy farmers, thriving communities, skilled researchers and greener solutions, while providing hands-on experiential learning, research and outreach opportunities for environmental stewardship.

Dharma Studies

The Dharma Studies initiative embodies Somaiya’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s intellectual and cultural heritage. Through programs in Yogashastra, Ancient Indian History, Archaeology, Language, Literature, and Religious Studies, it seeks to deepen global understanding of India’s philosophical traditions and foster academic excellence in the humanities.

Riidl

Riidl(Research Innovation Incubation Design Laboratory), a National Award winning Incubator and Accelerator transforms early-stage ideas into scalable solutions by offering design labs, expert mentoring and prototyping facilities for biotech & digital fabrication. Riidl has supported 2000+ early stage innovators & 300 startups, with portfolio companies securing investment from top-tier venture capitalists and is proud to be backed by the Gov of India and Maharashtra.

Nareshwadi Learning Centre (NLC)

Children admitted to Nareshwadi are from underprivileged families, aged 5 to 17 years and study from 1st to 10th grade. 95% of the students are from the local Warli tribal community with a few Kokanas, Katkari and Dodhi community students. About 10% are children of single parents or no parents, or come from HIV infected and affected families.

Since 2010, NLC has been closely engaged with the community as part of its Village Improvement Programme.

Somaiya Kala Vidya (SKV)

Somaiya Kala Vidya (SKV) was founded to sustain art traditions and increase both the value and income of artisans. We believe that when artisans determine the innovations and evolution of their art, it will retain cultural integrity. SKV’s advisors are Master Artisans and its faculty includes national and international educators.
