Kavita Devaraj Gowda studied for her M.Sc. in Biotechnology at Somaiya from 2023 to 2025 with the help of a need-based scholarship.

She says the money made a real difference to how she could study. With less to worry about, she could put her energy into her coursework and research and approach both with more confidence.

The scholarship came with more than fees. Skill-development sessions helped her communicate better, get ready for professional life and prepare for interviews. She says they played a big part in landing her current job as a research trainee at Advanced Enzyme Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Thane.
